n Rome on the morning of Friday 12 February. This fall was the heaviest in over twenty five years - according to some 'sources.' (This 'statistic' seems unspecific and generalization.)However I do remember waking to a good ground cover of snow in Rome just after Christmas 2003 (or was that 2004?!)
